History

Management Research & Solutions Inc. is headquartered in Toronto, Canada and was formed in 1995 by principals who had worked for years within the consulting industry. We recognized that while virtually every small and medium-sized business (SMB) had opportunities for improvement, the industry that offered services to these businesses had significant areas for improvement as well.

For the most part, the mainstream consulting entities tend to focus only on companies with annual sales greater than $250M, making it difficult for smaller companies to get access to a professional outside perspective and the kind of expertise they need to improve their business.

Consequently, MRSI’s goal was to deliver lasting improvements to our clients with a high degree of quality and professionalism not typically available to the SMB. MRSI recognized early on that in many ways small and medium-sized businesses require significantly different approaches from those used with larger firms.

Combining feedback from hundreds of clients with insights and innovations resulting from our own internal experiences, MRSI has designed, refined and implemented programs that not only produce lasting and tangible results, but do so in a manner that is comfortable to our clients and consistent with the way they approach business.

The market has responded very favorably to our formula and our revenues have been increasing steadily since the company’s inception in 1995. We continue to rely heavily on feedback from our clients regarding their experiences for both marketing support as well as continued evolution of the quality of services we provide.

MRSI Benchmarking was founded in Vancouver, Canada in 2008 by a long standing employee of Management Research & Solutions. The company has a similar mission and values.

We have collectively worked with hundreds of small and mid-sized companies, including manufacturers, contractors, job shops, wholesalers and distributors, professional firms, and service organizations.

We intend to lead the industry on the basis of integrity, quality, and value, achieving our goal of transforming the small and medium-sized business consulting industry.
