Benchmarking Analyst
Position Title: Benchmarking Analyst
Reports To: Director of Benchmarking Services
Salary Range: Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Benefits
Position Description:
- Completion of a detailed benchmarking analysis examining a client’s organizational structure, business processes, financial reporting and management development (to name a few) - this is a 1-2 week process that precedes every consulting engagement
- Analysis of standard and specific operating procedures
- Trend analysis of client’s financial statements to identify current performance trends
- Relation of existing performance gaps identified in the benchmarking analysis to current financial condition
- Analysis of the client’s management information system and its ability to provide meaningful management reports and other required corporate information
- Analysis of management issues within the organization including: interaction within management teams, interaction between managers and employees, as well as the feedback mechanism between the company (President) and the Board of Directors
- Collection, interpretation and presentation of employee feedback
- Management of client’s expectations throughout the analysis process
- Development of individual skills as they relate to the analysis process
Candidate qualifications will include:
- Demonstrated relationship sales experience (2 years plus)
- A business degree or strong understanding of financial statements and basic business concepts
- Demonstrated management, leadership, negotiation and interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent interviewing skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to inspire client staff and management team to embrace performance improvement initiatives
- Ability to perform independent study and training
- Willingness to contribute at a corporate level to overall process improvements within MRSI
